I released an EP a few years ago called Paddleboy. It’s a short little collection of songs about summer, amongst other things. It is a reflection on summers spent outdoors in Tofino and Sicamous, in British Columbia, when I was young; it is also a reflection on summers spent outdoors in Toronto, now that I am less young. It's about excitement and disappointment and childhood and adulthood and the smell of wood. It's also about electric guitars and squishy synths and drums and bass and friends.
Listen to it and, if you’d like, buy it on bandcamp, so that I can keep buying myself decent coffee. If I have to switch to instant coffee, as God is my witness, I will stop making music.
Colin Story - guitars, keyboards, field recordings
