I’m a musician, writer, and educator based in Toronto.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Performance and a Master’s degree in English Literature, both from the University of Toronto. I have taught at the Royal Conservatory of Music and at the University of Toronto’s Jazz Workshop, have performed extensively at major jazz festivals across Canada, and I was nominated for a 2016 JUNO award as a producer and guitarist. I am also a magazine columnist, a promotional writer, and I do the occasional bit of copy editing, which is much more fun than it sounds.

I teach privately in my studio in Kensington Market, in downtown Toronto. For more info, please visit the Teaching section of my website, or go straight to the Contact page to get in touch.
